Halloween approaches, Trick or Treat?

Myself I’ve always liked the idea of Halloween, one special day where you can knock on any door and ask them for sweets! Genius! Now that’s I’m 16 I am sensible and man enough to let the 10 years olds do this now and I become that random guy. Halloween tends to be one of those mixed views topic, and sadly the older generation seem to be quite against it, now the fact of getting your house egg/flour bombed by “Bad-Ass” teenagers is probably the main contributing point of why many people dislike Halloween.

Banks and cash machines.. The evilness within!

I guess this is going to be more of rant than anything, and to be honest I think I have a damn good reason to, I’ll start from the beginning. I was out out last night with some mates and went into Nottingham and went to the cinema. We went to watch Tropic Thunder (If you like random plots and humour go see it now!) anyway I usually have some spare cash on my desk, but this time I didn’t so I took my debit card and aimed to withdraw some cash when we go into town.

Using query strings to organise content

If you pay attention to URL’s you may notice those fancy URL’s that are structured like with parts like ?ID=1 in them. This can be achieved in a number of ways, however some methods are complex, and some are relatively easy. In actual fact there’s something in PHP called query strings and although it’s not the best way to do it, you can use query strings to generate special structures like ID numbers and such. In this tutorial you will be show a simple way of being able to do this.

Where are you James?

James? I am here! It’s been a while since I’ve posted something new, but I’ve been checking here almost daily for spam and emails, but haven’t had time to blog anything, in fact I’ve just come back from a long weekend holiday in Center Parcs (The one in the Lake District) there are several in the UK now a days! I’ve been over a dozen times now but Center Parcs rocks, you never get bored of it, plus it was a long weekend stay so I missed Friday and Monday off school so double bonus or what!
