Ebay auctions and the intensity of it all!

Im not a big fan of online auctioning, I don’t really feel secure, plus you have to have some form of plan before you bid otherwise you’ll probably end up losing a bidding war approximately 100% of the time, to me it seems to much work just to get product, perhaps it’s cheaper and your making a saving, but your still putting a effort in to get a product which might not get at the end of it. But last night, I got a taste of what online auctioning and bidding was like. And I’ve got to say How freaking intense is eBay! I mean wow, you’d think that because it’s online it’s less intense, but my god it’s so the opposite!

Whats been going on recently

The internet traffic war begins!

You may have read my post “Plan of Action for 2009″ I referenced that I will be posting some new tutorials very soon, and I think you’ll find I’ve followed through on that statement, in the past two weeks I have released three tutorials that I was meant to be released in 2008! Like I said thanks to my PC dying before Christmas I was unable to continue or finish any of them as the information was on a hard drive which had no power supply to it. But I completed all three, and even better all three of them got featured on Good-Tutorials!

Adding shadow to your divs in CSS2

Although the W3 (World Wide Web Consortium) have sent out CSS3 (New version of the CSS language) to various browser company’s such as Mozilla and Safari. Support for it is not high enough, so some of the great attributes that CSS3 will be bringing in such as box-shadow which allows you to add shadow (that we will be creating in this tutorial) with one attribute. So we’re going to have stick to CSS2!

Plan of Action for 2009

I will admit that towards the end of 2008, I was not active much so there wasn’t any new content posted, I have paid for this by having to nice spike in my traffic graph and also have -16% on my Google Analytics dashboard, it’s not pretty but I wasn’t exactly expecting a graph continously going up even when I didn’t post anything new. But in my what sounds like court room defence I was busy for my college work. It’s simple as that. Priorities are the word here. I love my blog, I spend to much time on it and it distracts me in college when im a on PC, but college work is important!
