How long till the Xbox 360 gets BBC’s iPlayer?

Whats the main the difference between the Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and PS3? Ignoring the obvious specification differences, the flame war comments and the general fan boy douchness, one of these consoles doesn’t have BBC’s iPlayer service and falling short is Microsoft’s Xbox 360, iPlayer is probably one of the main demands that a typical UK Xbox 360 console owner want to see appeaing on their Xbox Dashboard and yet were still waiting for BBC’s iPlayer service to make an appearance. Whats taking so long?!

Speeding up your WordPress Dashboard

Recently, I’ve noticed when I’ve been administrating my blog, my WordPress dashboard has become awfully slow, and I mean slow. The loading of the dashboard was like dial up speeds and im on a 2 MB broadband connection (Soon to be 10 MB) so it was a joke really. So I went hunting for some tips on getting my WordPress Dashboard like the speed of light again. Controlling www or no www in .htaccess

When you go to punch in a URL in your browsers address bar, you may add the www. or be lazy and just put in thedomain.com, sometimes you can use both and sometimes one of the two redirects to the other version of the address. For example if you type in james-blogs.com in your URL address bar the www. suddenly is added on, why? This is because for SEO purposes it is important that you have one constant varitation while redirecting the both to chosen variation in my case I make the www. appear as I think it looks better with blog and domains with a dash in them. Are we seeing the end of Internet Explorer 6?

Recently YouTube has announced it will be phasing out support for the Internet Explorer 6 Browser, about time! For anyone who is still on this out dated browser (And HAS the choice of upgrading) you really need councilling. I don’t get why some people constantly ignore there Windows Update screen which by now will probably be screaming at them to update. However it looks like the major websites of today are phasing out Internet Explorer 6 support.
