The UK get two snow days in one week!

England this week has been subjected to the most snow we’ve ever had in years! Every resident in the UK woke up monday morning with a blanket of snow covering everything. On Tuesday the snow combined with ice closed over 100 schools in Nottingham and caused major roads to be closed due to them being too dangerous (Some 13% gradient sloped roads) and now thinking that the snow has melted away, but it has returned today! There is 2cm – 5cm snow on the ground across parts of the UK. In Nottingham alone over 250 schools are closed, the roads are really bad and traffic is heavy.

My school has literally just been announced over the radio that it is closed along with a update on my schools website saying closed, along with a further 250 odd closing too. Chaos on the roads so everyones thinking to just walk to work. I have a guitar lesson later, but I think I’ll have to cancel it, because if my bus isn’t running I won’t be able to get into town and no one will able to pick me up when it finishes as the roads will be too dangerous. This morning snow is contining to fall in Nottingham and the temperature is currently -1.

There’s more snow falling than Monday, which orginally I thought was bad but obviously not! Im currently sitting up in bed with the laptop and looking out the window and the amount of snow is apparent here’s some pictures:
