A somewhat annoying delay
This week hasn’t started off that well, I’m not one to complain but this week everything technology wise everything has just seemed to completely collapse. The main issue that’s occurred is the loss of my PC. For whatever reason, the PC now has no power running through it, something inside has broke (most likely the PSU) as right now I’m currently typing on Laptop. Which is great fun when you’re used to typing on a nice big keyboard.
Basically it all started when the lights in the kitchen we’re being replaced and I don’t mean replacing a light blub I mean re-wiring a new light in the kitchen, so obviously like the kind person you are you turn off the electric power supply so you won’t give your electrician a shock. And it’s something thats been done before, flick a switch, power off, Flick it again power on. Much like when you have a power cut. Problem is for whatever reason the PC has lost the ability to circulate electricity since the power was turned off, and this makes no sense as the PC was off at the time of the power being turned off even weirder still my PC has been lost power twice in the space of 10 minitues once during a power cut (Power came on then went off again then came back on) and that did nothing to the system.
Whether it be just a freak accident or coincidence I guess the statement of “you can’t win them all” applies, or even better “To have one thing you must lose another”. I think statement two is more describing on the situation. Hey we got new lights in the kitchen and after having no light at all for about two weeks it was pretty good, oh no wait in order for this cycle to finish we must take something from you. Yeah thanks fate, thanks for making the judgement that I don’t need my PC right now. Luckily in a counter measure against you I invested in a laptop a few months ago. I still hold the moral high ground!
This does mean however that topics I covered in the previous post “Updates coming soon” will now be delayed, as I have one dead computer with all the data locked away, it’s really annoying knowing that you haven’t lost the data but without the power of electricity your powerless and unable to access it (Im sorry for that joke) but while sitting here basically helpless I have been able to plan on extensively what im going to do for when my magical PC sparks back into life. All the topics I have covered in the previous post, I have planned what I can do when I can return to normal work status. For a little insight I have planned 2 tutorials ready for writing up as well as other things, im not going to say anyone as I don’t want to give the suprise away and also there’s no point as I don’t have a date of when I get my computer up and running again.
So remember folks, don’t anger electricity or tempt fate, or it may just remove the functions of your electronics that it damn well knows you need!
(I aplogise for any really bad grammar errors in this post, im sorry but I just can’t type on laptops)
