FS Air Podcasts officially go live!

The FS Air podcasts website officially went live today along with the public release of our first podcast episide! After much hard work from Fire G the website is now live and you can view all the podcasts thats we’ve been recording since Episode 1. To visit the site click here the site design fits in with the whole FS-Air scheme. Fire G has put in all his knowledge of jQuery and XML to create a interactive website for all to access, listen and download our podcasts. A big pat on the back for Fire G!

A blast from the past

It was most defiantly a “blast from the past” moment today in my A level I.T class for the coursework Task 2 of 4 is to create a website for a company called DM Carpets (It’s all part of the specification, it’s not a real organisation) but task two is to create a website with specific pages and specific content but of course the layout is up to you, which is great as Website Development might as well be my middle name. Today was mainly about the theory of it all and I don’t want to sound big headed here but I knew it already, but I have been in the website development scene for a few years so it’s nothing new to me.

A somewhat annoying delay

This week hasn’t started off that well, I’m not one to complain but this week everything technology wise everything has just seemed to completely collapse. The main issue that’s occurred is the loss of my PC. For whatever reason, the PC now has no power running through it, something inside has broke (most likely the PSU) as right now I’m currently typing on Laptop. Which is great fun when you’re used to typing on a nice big keyboard.

What I wake up to every day

In the mornings if I have time I usually turn on the laptop and check the blog as well as check my emails, and sometimes visit the BBC News website, because you know it’s good to be updated on what your waking up to. But like I said I usually login into the admin panel on James’ Blog to do some checks as well reply to any comments or to finish that post I was working on last night and I’m always greeted with the same annoying sight everyday as soon as I’ve logged in…

Phishing and how to spot it

Phishing emails (Not fishing), also known as hoax or fake emails are generally assosiated with websites that use some form of online payment system, a classic target is banks, as many banks have the option to do online banking phishing can be found occuring within that sector, however today I received a very suspect email from eBay (Well claiming to be eBay) So you may be thinking so what? Well what makes this email so suspect already is the fact I don’t have a ebay account or having to do with eBay assosiated with my email address!
