Happy Halloween everybody!

Yes it’s October 31st, and it’s surprisingly bright and sunny in England, but of course cold! As you can see James’ Blog has got into the Halloween scene with a special Halloween theme for the blog. I always like to do things like this, although I’m far too old to go trick or treating I can still do something right?! We’ve got for a bit of ghost and ghouls image going on the blog and I hope your not scared to much! This is probably the shortest article ever but then again whats a Halloween theme without a Halloween post on the 31st! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

    Halloween is very much celebrated in the UK. Myself being 16 now I don’t go out trick or treating but still recongise it as a day of fun, Although Halloween has changed over the years as in people are forgetting the event and not doing anything. I guess it’s one of those days where you either like it or don’t.

    what fun. it’s not a culture in my country so we usually celebrate halloween with as much enthusiasm as a cat being confronted with carrot sticks.

    i’ve aways adored the costumes and masks though!

    Halloween in the UK is mainly celebrated with people dressing up as spooky characters and like you said wearing masks and costumes, infact before the week’s holiday in school. There was a day we’re you could dress up in a Halloween costume, if you did it we had to pay a £1, but it was for a good cause as the money was going to charity. So it is seen as a fun day for many. But realistically it’s for the young children, as there’s the art of trick or treating, where people dress up in halloween costumes and go knocking on doors.
