Is 2012 the end for us human kind?

If the fact of having some huge Hadron Collider killing us all by punching a black hole into the earth and sucking us all in wasn’t enough, we now have yet another doomsday theory circulating! This time ladies and gentlemen it’s not crazy swiss people with PHD’s, this time it’s a prophecy which for told century’s ago that we are going to be doomed 2,000 years later of this prophecy. Fear not! This time we can prepare as the exact date of Doomsday is 21st Decemeber 2012!

Unlike the Hadron Collider this doomsday theory is more than just facts and figures, it’s generally a revalation that you generally have to believe In I guess. But each growing day it seems that some factor is going to have a go and destroy earth, whether it be asteroids, global warming whatever… There’s going to be always theories of the world ending, and being the amazing human race that we are we generallly don’t really give a crap… And just get on with life. Aren’t we special!

The main hype about this doomsday theory is that the earths polarity is going to reverse and basically the earth will be thrown into chaos and the birds that use the poles to fly will be completly confused and probably just give up.

The Maya civilisation had predicted several century’s ago that something major is going to happen on 21st December 2012, however many people need to remember that they PREDICTED this, they calculated this using there own calendar.. I took a look at there calendar and if you thought algebra in maths was hard you need to see this:

Using only dots and symbols they used this to calculate this doomsday date. Now I don’t know about you, but dots and symbols to calculate a date… Not exactly warming is it, because in the end we know the answer isn’t going to be “2x + 4b = Who cares” I don’t have the attenion span to actually read about the whole theory of the calendar but it works very differently to a typical calendar you can buy in a store (No not the ones with nude ladies on, you dirty dog!)

Whats interesting about this whole 2012 theory is that different factors are supposed to happening on the doomsday set date. Religion seems to be heavily involved predicting that the world will end, books like the bible seem to speak about it. Other factors such as the sun exploding and even natural factors like volcano’s also seem to want a piece of the doomsday pie. But something interesting is also meant to happen. Apparently (and you really have to be a believer in this) aliens will desend form our skies on the doomsday day. It is not clear what these ET’s will do, but it could be to either be to save us, or just finally prove all of those aductee’s that Aliens are coming for us and want to cause genocide.

Linking to this, according to one theory the doomsday of earth is preventable and infact what humanity will need to is get all of the “crystal skulls” in the world and place them in a specific way like a prophecy has told, doing this is apparently will tell us the answer on how to stop the earth from being destroyed. Everyone seems to have forgotten about Global warming though…. We all seems to be so involved in these conspiracy’s that we indeed have forgot that the planet is warming up and pretty soon the polar ice caps are going to make the sea level rise to a certain level which will make many countries and major cities join Atlanta in the lost under water world. We also actually have the issue of the sun exploding, not many people seems to be picking up on that. And for anyone that can’t see why the sun exploding is a problem, we will basically become a nice pile of BBQ. Solar flares have also increased causing so hype between bofin scienctists.

So the world ending in 2012, is it possible? Probably not… But to be honest, all the stuff that we keep doing to this planet, whether it be creating atom smashers, boiling the planet or just slowly stealing mother nature’s bricks of life on by one it’s amazing how we’ve managed to not destroy ourselves pre 21st century..
