My new Nokia 6500 Slide (Silver)

Nokia Mobile Phone

Ever since I got my new mobile phone on Friday I haven’t put it down! My mum said she’d buy me a new phone because I did well on my GCSE’s, it was completly unexpected and I was dead happy! So it’s a new phone which makes it special but whats even more special is that it’s a slide phone and im really addicted to sliding it up and down (It’s almost becoming a fetish) but come on people aren’t slidey phones just asking you to continiously slide them. I mean anything that slides or moves in a weird way is just so cool!

Okay so after telling everyone that I have serious mental problems because I slide phones alot, we can talk about the phone! Well getting a Nokia is quite a change for me because I’ve been using Sony Ericsson phones for the past 3 years or so, but when I came to look at Sony Ericsson phones on Pay as you go, they were all really bad and the Nokia just caught my eye and then even better, found out it was in silver!

I bought the phone on Friday from the Carphone warehouse, because them sponsoring the X Factor actually works, because I would never of thought to go there having not seen the sponsered by Carphone warehouse ad on the X Factor! So I got my phone on Friday but couldn’t use it at all until Saturday morning? Why? That bloody 16 hours battery charge thing it says in the instruction manual that you have to do, otherwise your battery will run rat in about a day. Thats the only bad thing about mobile phones. When you first buy them you’re dead excited and want to check out all the cool games, applications, menus and all of that, but no the phones makes you wait for it and makes you charge it for 16 hours, even though it says “Fully charged Please disconnect the charger for god sake before you cause more global warming thats occured in 50 years”

So basically saturday morning was reading the instruction manual (Yes I am retarded) and trying to figure out various stuffs that the phone can do. I think considering that I’ve been using a completely different make of phone I did alright. I did however need to look up what the lock/unlock keypad keys were on a Nokia as I’d forgot completly and couldn’t get back into my phone! (DAMN YOU AUTOMATIC KEYPAD LOCK!)

Anyway here’s a few pictures of it:

nokia 1

Quite a fat but small phone but it has a good weight on it. I hate slim phones because sometimes they feel like you could snap them with ease.

nokia 2

The whole slidey slide about the phone. Got to love it!

So there you have it my new nokia phone. Well I’ve still got a few menus to look at still, currently putting some MP3′s on it, I hate the Default techno crap that comes with it, and even worse you can’t delete half of them as there protected… (Yeah protected from being deleted by every nokia user I bet) besides that. Im in love with my new phone!
